Pair of original 1st printing thin-paper concert handbills for the West Coast Watermelon Feed and Love-In, held at a private beach in Davenport (near Santa Cruz), CA on 8/11/1968.

Acts listed include: Quicksilver Messenger Service, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Youngbloods, the Steve Miller Band, Phoenix, West, Charlie Musselwhite, Flamin' Groovies and more.

Art by Freeman, both handbills (one is 6 x 7&3/4", the other is slightly larger at 5&1/2 x 8&3/8") are in good to decent (B/B- to B-) condition; the larger one has a pair of holes, a missing corner tip, a series of thin diagonal bends going across the upper margin area and a bit of handling, while the other one has a set of pronounced horizontal creases, a bit of handling wear and a slight curl to the paper, otherwise it looks OK.
