Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert/event flyer for beat poet Allen Ginsberg and Swami Bhaktivendanta appearing along with the Grateful Dead, Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) and Moby Grape in a benefit* performance (*for the San Francisco Krishna Temple), held at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 1/29/1967.
 
 Design by Harvey Cohen (*thanks Andy!), image ("Krishna Consciousness Comes West") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 107 (plate 2.18).
 
 Thin flat stock flyer is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a whisper of paper discoloration along the extreme top border with a couple of tiny drip marks in the left white border area, a trace amount of handling wear and a tiny edge nip in the lower right margin, otherwise fine.
