Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for the Grateful ("Greatful") Dead appearing with Sopwith Camel at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 8/19-20/1966.

 Thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a few stray soft handling dings here and there, along with a bit of light surface dirt/smudging along the right margin (slightly heavier in the lower right corner) and a couple of ULTRA-tiny pinch bends along the top margin, otherwise fine.

 VERY nice-looking example of this early Grateful Dead concert artifact from the Avalon. As a side note, this was reportedly the same weekend that Warner Brothers' Joe Smith signed the Dead to their recording contract. Historic!
