Original 4&1/8 x 6&1/8" blank-reverse concert handbill for legendary Texas psychedelic pioneers the 13th Floor Elevators appearing with the Baytovens, the Harbinger Complex, Canadian Fuzz, Immediate Family, the Night Caps and the Staton Brothers at the College of San Mateo (CA) on 10/15/1966.

 Art by C. Thayer, medium flat vellum stock handbill is in decent/used (B/B- to B-) condition; there are a pair of tack holes with tiny pin-prick rust spots and tiny pulls in the top/bottom margins, along with a moderate degree of toning, a couple of semi-pronounced bends, a series of handling dings/light bends, moderate edge/corner-tip wear, tape pulls/discoloration toning on the reverse... definitely a well-worn survivor.

Conditional issues aside, this is an EXCESSIVELY SCARCE Elevators item from the band's Sept.-Oct.-'66 trip to California (their only shows outside of Texas), the first example I have ever come across.
