Original 1st printing 9&7/8 x 7&7/8" concert handbill for the 9th Annual Associated Students of U.C. Berkeley Folk Festival, a 2-day event featuring Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Greenbrair Boys at Pauley Ballroom on 7/3/1966 and again with John Fahey, Pete Seeger, Robert Pete Williams and host Ralph J. Gleason at the Greek Theatre on 7/4/1967, both shows held on the campus of the University of California in Berkeley, CA.

Design/photo by Barry Olivier (not credited), image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 172 (plate 2.132)

Thin flat stock handbill is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there is a decent-sized tape stain/pull in the top center margin, along with semi-flattened horizontal/vertical creases, a light amount of handling/edge/corner-tip wear and a tiny pin-prick spot/surface scratch or two hiding within the image area, otherwise OK.

VERY hard-to-find early Jefferson Airplane image from the Art of Rock. For more on the J.A.'s activities during this period (including an interesting tidbit about these shows), click HERE:
