Original 1st printing 22 x 25&1/2" event poster for a benefit performance (an environmental awareness show sponsored by Clean Air, Inc.), held at the Hunter College Assembly Hall in New York City on 5/10/1971.
Acts listed include: the Chambers Brothers, Pacific Gas & Electric, Dreams and Redbone, along with MC Alex Bennett (WPLJ-FM) and improvisations by Brave New Workshop.
Art by George Delmerico (typeset by Cardinal), thick glossy-coated vellum stock (almost thin cardboard) poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are tack/staple holes in the upper left/right corners, along with a few well-camouflaged stress bend scattered around the image/outer margin area, a touch of toning, a few light surface scuffs/scratches here and there, a couple of small corner-tip bends and a tiny nip tear in the upper right margin, otherwise fine.
REALLY COOL oddball NYC benefit poster from the early-'70's, first one of these I have ever seen.
