Original 1st printing (1st Edition of 1200) 19&5/8 x 26&3/4" event poster for the 7/17/1967 opening of the Joint Show, held at the Moore Gallery in San Francisco, CA and featuring music by Country Joe & the Fish and exhibited art by Stanley Mouse (who did this version of the poster), Rick Griffin, Victor Moscoso, Wes Wilson, Alton Kelley and more.
Art by the aforementioned Stanley Mouse, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 235 (plate 2.348).
Medium-thick semi-gloss coated index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is an approximately 1 x 8" vertical strip of light toning along the lower right margin, along with a few light handling creases/soft bends and a thin stress bend or two scattered around the outer margin area, a roughly 2" hard pressure crease in the upper left corner of the image area, a few light surface scratches/fingerprint smudges here and there and a couple of small pin-prick drip stains on the reverse, otherwise fine.
Most of the conditional issues on this example are fairly well camouflaged, it presents itself quite nicely for a 55+ year-old poster.
