Original 1st printing 17 x 11" concert poster for the May/June 1969 schedule of shows at the Boston Tea Party (53 Berkeley St. location) in Boston, MA.
Acts listed include: the Jeff Beck Group with the Nice (featuring Keith Emerson, 5-6-8), Poco with Family (5/9-12), the Who with (Rahsaan) Roland Kirk (5/13-15), Joe Cocker & the Grease Band with (Rahsaan) Roland Kirk (5/16-17), the Bonzo Dog Band with It's A Beautiful Day (5/22-24), Led Zeppelin with Zephyr (featuring Tommy Bolin, 5/27-29), Velvet Underground with the Allman Brothers Band (5/30-31) and Delaney & Bonnie and Friends with the Serfs (6/5-7).
Art by Eric Engstrom, medium-thick flat index stock poster is in near mint (A-) condition; aside from a couple of EXTRA-tiny edge dings/pressure creases scattered around the outer margin area and a stray pin-prick surface spot, it is a VERY sharp/crisp example of this mid-1969 Tea Party calendar poster with an UNBELIEVABLE lineup of bands.
I've had a couple of these before, usually in used shape; this one looks practically uncirculated. GORGEOUS specimen!
