Original 1st printing 18&3/8 x 27&75/8" event poster for the 1974 edition of the Golden State Country Bluegrss Festival, held at the College of Marin in San Rafael, CA from 4/26-28/1974.

 Poster lists appearances by Vassar Clements, Doc and Merle Watson, Jim & Jesse, Jimmy Martin, Mac Wiseman, John Hartford, Doug Dillard, Frank Wakefield and more. (*additional acts not listed on the poster performed at this event, including Old & In the Way (with Jerry Garcia), Maria Muldaur and several others (see photo below)

 Art by Rick Shubb, medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are clear tape remnants in all four corners and in the left/right/top center margins, along with a few stray edge/corner-tip dings, a hint of curling to the paper and a few relatively minor surface issues (thin scratches, fingerprint smudges, tiny stress/handling dings), but overall it is in pretty nice shape.
