Original 1st printing 23&1/2 x 33&1/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing at Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt, (West) Germany on 4/26/1972.

 Design by Gunther Kieser, image (an identical tour blank for the 9/14/1974 show in Munich) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 408 (plate 4.237). 

 Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there is a small 1&1/2" crescent-shaped wedge of paper missing from the lower left margin, along with tack holes/wear in all four corners, a 4-5" vertical tear in the lower right margin (sealed on the reverse with clear tape), a 2-3" diagonal bend in the upper right corner, a series of edge creases/tiny nip tears scattered around the outer margin, a series of tiny stress bends and handling creases scattered throughout the image area and a few tiny pin-prick spots here and there, otherwise OK. Unlike most of these that I have seen (including tour blanks), this example has NOT been folded.

 UNBELIEVABLY SCARCE Grateful Dead poster from the Europe '72 tour, this is only the SECOND example that I have come across with the additional concert information added. The only other example I had with a concert date came from someone within the GD organization, about 7-8 years ago. Check out the show HERE:
