Original 1st printing 5&1/2 x 8&1/2" double-sided event handbill for a performance of (beat poet) Michael McClure's one-act play, "The Beard", held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 7/24/1966.
Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 19 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (OHB-B in the Eric King Guide).
Thin flat stock handbill is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are staple/pin holes in all four corners, along with a light amount of handling wear (mostly along the top edge), a few tiny edge dings scattered around the outer margin area, a whisper of toning and a 1/2" diagonal bend in the upper right corner tip, otherwise fine.
Most of the condition issues are fairly negligible from a presentation point of view, it's a pretty nice-looking example overall. These usually don't come cheap, this one is relatively reasonable.
