Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 28&5/8" concert poster for an all-blues show featuring John Mayall, Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Otis Spann and Magic Sam appearing together at Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 3/27-29/1969.

 Art by Greg Irons, image (handbill w/extra ticket strip) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 349 (plate 4.55).

  Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are tack holes (a couple with tiny circular rust rings) in all four corners, in the right center margin (this one has a small crescent-shaped tear around the hole), in one of the legs and in the black field in the lower right margin, along with a couple of semi fossilized tape marks and tiny edge tears in the upper left corner, a thin horizontal bend along the upper right margin (inside the white border area), a bit of edge creasing and a few tiny nip tears scattered around the outer margin area and a few tiny stress creases/handling dings hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.

 An overall fine-looking example of this KILLER 1969 Greg Irons poster from one of only a few non-Bill Graham shows held at the venue that year.
