Original 1st printing 34&1/8 x 22&1/2" concert/event poster for the second Isle of Wight Festival of Music, held in Woodside Bay on the Isle of Wight off the coast of Southern England from 8/29-31/1969.
Poster lists appearances by Bob Dylan and the Band, The Who, the Moody Blues, Fat Mattress, Bonzo Dog Band, Family, Free, the Pretty Things, Marsha Hunt & White Trash, Battered Ornaments, Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, Blodwyn Pig, Gypsy, Blonde on Blonde, Edgar Broughton Band, King Crimson, Richie Havens, Tom Paxton, Pentangle, Julie Felix, Gary Farr, Liverpool Scene, Third Ear Band and Indo-Jazz Fusions.
Design by Dave Roe (not credited), extra-thin flat "fly-posting" (rough/tacky reverse) vellum stock silkscreen poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are a series of semi-pronounced crinkle creases and a few tiny nip tears scattered around the outer edges, along with a bit of handling wear/creasing in the lower left corner, a small 1" tear in the lower left margin, a tiny edge stain and a thin diagonal bend in the upper left corner and a couple of stray handling creases hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.
REALLY cool-looking extra-large Bob Dylan item from his final public concert appearance of the 1960's.
