Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for the 13th Floor Elevators (featuring Roky Erickson) appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 9/30-10/1/1966.
 
 Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image ("Zebra Man") is # 28 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. (OP-1 in the Eric King guide)
 
 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; ther are multiple pin/staple/tack holes in each corner, with a bit of additional wear and a small tear in the upper right corner, along with a few tiny edge dings/nics scattered around the outer margin area, a bit of mild toning to the paper, a couple of small bends, including a thin vertical bend/smudge going through the "on" of "Avalon" and a large flattened diagonal bend extending from the upper left margin down through the ticket strip to the bottom center margin, otherwise fine. The orange pass of ink is REALLY strong/pronounced on this example.
