Original 1st printing (2nd state, "Opening June 21") 10 x 14" concert poster for the Charlatans appearing at the Red Dog Saloon in Virginia City, NV from 6/21-?/1965 (*unknown exactly how long the engagement lasted).
 
 Art by Charlatans pianist/drummer Mike Ferguson and lead singer George Hunter, image ("The Seed") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 89 (plate 2.1).
 
 Medium flat index stock poster is in has been professionally restored to near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; there are a couple of flattened/pressed-out creases (mostly visible from the reverse), along with a couple of minor repairs in the corners/margins (filled-in holes, a sealed tear or two), plus a couple of ULTRA-tiny nearly-invisible pin holes, pin-prick surface spots and a tiny stress bend or two hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.
