Original 1st printing 11 x 14" concert mini-poster for jazz piano legend Thelonious Monk appearing with Dr. John ("the Night Tripper") and the Charlatans at the Carousel Ballroom In San Francisco, CA from 5/3-5/1968.

 Art by Rick Shubb, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 181 (plate 2.167). 

 Medium flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are a couple of thin diagonal creases in the lower left corner, along with a couple of stray soft handling dings/thin bends hiding within the image area and a couple of tiny corner-tip bends, otherwise fine. 

Very trippy design on this one, and an even more unusual lineup!
