Description

Pair of original items relating to Dr. Stanley Krippner's* February 1971 Experiment in Dream Telepathy (ESP), which was held with cooperation from the Grateful Dead, occurring over six nights of shows held at the Capitol Theatre in Portchester, NY from 2/18-24/1971; *along with Charles Honorton and Montague Ullman

The first is an 8&1/2 x 11" 10-page study/synopsis (SIGNED and numbered 1/50 by Dr. Krippner on the second page (see photo)), printed on thin vellum stock with a nicely-designed cover sheet, stapled together in the upper left corner with a single staple. There is a bit of edge wear/creasing and a series of tiny pin-prick age spots (mostly on the cover page) and a bit of toning along the edges of the interior pages, but overall it is still in decent shape, about B to B/B+ overall.

The second item is a small 6 x 9" 6-page synopsis brochure (reprinted from the Journal of the American Society of Psychosomatic Dentistry and Medicine, Volume 20, # 1 (1973); this item is on thin glossy stock and is in excellent (B+) condition; just a light scuff mark on the cover and a few light handling dings here and there, otherwise fine.

FASCINATING pair of early-'71 Grateful Dead artifacts from one of the more unique experiments the band engaged in; read all about it (including links to the recordings) HERE:
