Description

Official (Berkeley Bonaparte) 2nd printing 20 x 14" concert poster for "BUSTED!", a benefit for the San Francisco Mime Troupe, held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 4/12/1967.

The Bill Graham-sponsored event featured performances by the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Andrew Staples and Loading Zone.

Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image (black and white 1st printing) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 151 (plate 2.71).

Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; just a tiny diagonal crease in the lower right corner tip, a touch of handling and a whisper of surface smudging around the border area, otherwise fine.

Nice-looking full-color version of this popular Fillmore poster.
