Original 1st printing 7 x 8&1/2" (opens up to 8&1/2 x 124") double-sided broadside/handout calling for the release of Black Panther Party Minister of Information Eldridge Cleaver, who was being held in the California State Prison system following a shoot-out with Oakland police on 4/6/1968 (*which resulted in the murder (by police) of B.P. Bobby Hutton).
Written by (Mrs.) Kathleen Cleaver, thin flat stock broadside is in near mint (A-) condition; aside from the piece being folded off-center, there's really nothing more than a few ultra-light handling dings... very sharp/clean otherwise.
Fascinating early-1968 Black Panther Party artifact detailing a pivotal incident in American racial history.
