Description

Original 1st printing 15&3/4 x 21&3/4" concert poster for Leopold Fuchs appearing with H-Bomb and American Standard (featuring Tommy Bolin) at the Family Dog at 1601 West Evans in Denver, CO from 2/9-10/1968.

Art by Barry Cline, image is # FD-680209 in the Eric King guide, and post-dates Chet Helms' involvement with the venue.

Medium-thick flat vellum stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there are pin/tack holes in all four corners, along with a pair of small tears and a bit of creasing in the lower right corner, a series of fairly pronounced thin diagonal bends/creases in both the lower left/right corners, a light amount of toning, a few thin stress bends, light scuffs/scratches and handling dings hiding within the image area and a number of decent-sized tape pulls scattered across the reverse side, otherwise fine.

VERY hard-to-find early-'68/post-Chet Helms-era Family Dog Denver poster with a great design... only the second one I have seen. Check out a brief history of American Standard HERE:
