Description

Original 8&1/4 x 29&1/2" paste-up artwork (*for the San Francisco Chronicle "pink pages" (entertainment section) for a series of Bill Graham-produced 1978 shows held at Winterland, Sacramento Community Theater/Auditorium, San Jose Center for the Performing Arts and Berkeley Community Theatre.

Shows listed include: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with David Johansen (Winterland, 6/10), Little Feat and John Hall (Sacramento 6/13, BCT 6/14), the Kinks and Charlie (San Jose 6/16, BCT 6/21), Rare Earth, Mandre and Platinum Hook (Winterland, 6/16, Sacramento 6/17) and Bruce Springsteen (San Jose 6/29, BCT 6/30-7/1).

Design by Randy Tuten, hand-cut photostat (with hand-drawn border) on Crescent Art board artwork is in good (B) condition; there is a semi-pronounced diagonal/horizontal roll bend/crease running along the upper left margin of the board, along with a couple of surface smudges, a hand-written printer's note from Randy along the bottom edge, a few stray age spots and abit of edge peeling around a few of the cut-outs, but overall it still looks pretty nice.

VERY COOL and unique piece of original late-'70's BGP newsprint art with a HUGE all-star lineup.
