Description

Original 1st printing 28&1/2 x 22&5/8" uncut pair of concert posters for the Chambers Brothers appearing with the Nice (featuring Keith Emerson) and King Crimson (with Robert Fripp and Greg Lake) from 12/11-14/1969 and the Grateful Dead appearing with Humble Pie (with Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton) and the Flock from 12/4-7/1969*, all shows held at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA.

Art by (and SIGNED in silver ink by) David Singer, images are numbers 205 (Grateful Dead) and 206 (Chambers Brothers) in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.

Medium glossy coated index stock proof sheet is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; only a couple of stray surface scratches/tiny scuffs on the BG 206 side, a loose pinch ding or two hiding within the image area, a touch of edge handling and a few pin-prick age spots scattered along the extreme bottom left margin, otherwise fine.

Absolutely KILLER ARTIST-SIGNED pair of 1st printing 1969 Fillmore posters on a single sheet.

*Dec. 6th was canceled in the wake of the events at the Rolling Stones' free show at Altamont.
