Original 1st printing 27&7/8 x 21&1/88" concert poster for a week-long series of shows held at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA from 6/30-7/4/1971. *these were the FINAL concerts at the venue held under the BGP banner)
Shows listed include: Cold Blood appearing with Boz Scaggs, the Flamin' Groovies and Stoneground (6/30), It's A Beautiful Day with the Elvin Bishop Group, Grootna and Lamb (7/1), the Grateful Dead with the New Riders of the Purple Sage and the Rowan Brothers (7/2), Quicksilver Messenger Service with Hot Tuna (Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane) and Yogi Phlegm (Sons of Champlin) (7/3) and Creedence Clearwater Revival with Santana and Tower of Power (7/4).
Art by David Singer, image is # 287 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. This is the last Fillmore poster in the original series.
Medium glossy coated index stock poster is in good (B) condition; there are a number of tiny hard creases/thin bends running along the top/bottom margins, along with a set of tack holes (all four corners/margins), a series of semi-camouflaged pinch bends, thin stress creases and tiny surface marks scattered throughout the image area, a bit of curl to the paper from being rolled, toning on the reverse and a hint of moisture ripple to the paper... far from perfect, but not totally hammered, either.
An overall decent-looking semi-used 1st printing example of this iconic Fillmore image.
