Description

Original 1st printing 14 x 21" concert poster for the Doors appearing with Doug Kershaw, Cold Blood and Commander Cody at Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 2/5-6/1970.

Art by (and SIGNED in silver pen by) Randy Tuten (with a photo by Joel Brodsky), image is # 219 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.

Medium glossy coated index stock poster is in good/decent (B/B-) condition; there are staple holes in all four corner, in the top center margins and in the lower left/right margins, along with a series of tiny pin-prick indentations traversing the lower portion of the image (between the ticket strip and the photo), a bit of fading/discoloration in the upper left/right margins/corners, along the top margin and in the yellow pass of ink on "the Doors", a few tiny spider-crack stress creases/pinch dings here and there, a touch of toning to the photo and a bit of minor corner-tip wear, otherwise fine.

All told, it's still a fairly decent-looking (if semi-used) ARTIST-SIGNED (and likely personally owned) example of this classic 1970 Doors poster from San Francisco.
