Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Andrew Staples at the Old Cheese Factory in San Francisco, CA on 11/12/1966. 

Art by (and SIGNED in black flair pen by) Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley (not signed), image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 186 (plate 2.185). 

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster has been partially restored and heat-mounted to a thick piece of board- condition probably rates out to about a B/B- to B- overall; there has been a lot of work on this example- numerous flattened/pressed-out creases, a few areas of ink repair/fill (particularly around the horizontal crease), and there remains a lot of evidence of the original condition (corner/edge wear, toning, pin-prick surface spots, etc.), but aside from the condition the main attraction on this one is the EXTRA-LARGE SIGNATURE ("HI THERE JERRY GARCIA") in thick gold paint pen along the bottom edge of the poster. ABSOLUTELY KILLER JERRY/MOUSE-SIGNED original 1966 Grateful Dead poster!!!
