Description

 Original 1st printing 11 x 13&3/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia appearing with Tom Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival) and Merl Saunders, along with Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks and the Fletcher Brothers & the Natural Act at Longshoreman's Hall in San Francisco, CA on 11/8/1972. 

 Designer unknown (the background features a very old rendition of Zen master Bodhidharma), this show was a legal-aid benefit for an organization called "High-Altitude Traders" (use your imagination). 

 Medium-thick textured ("leatherette"*) stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a couple of tiny thin diagonal bends in the upper right margin/corner and a few light scuff marks on the reverse side, it is a mostly-clean example of this. ULTRA-obscure late-'72 Jerry/Merl poster from Longshoreman's Hall (home of the Trips Festival and the early Family Dog dances).
