Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 10&3/8" double-sided concert flyer for the Doors appearing at the Westbury (NY) Music Fair (Nassau County on Long Island) on 4/19/1968 with announcements on the reverse for upcoming shows by the Turtles and the Vagrants (4/20), Jefferson Airplane (4/21), the Four Tops (4/26-28) and Pete Seeger with Len Chandler (6/17).
Designer unknown, medium-thin vellum stock flyer is in decent/used (B-) condition; in addition to a name/address hand-written in pencil in the upper right-hand corner, there are five (5) decent-sized discolored/brown tape shadows in all four edges (all positioned haphazardly), along with a 1/2" tear in the lower right margin, a couple of edge dings, a very soft horizontal fold in the center and a touch of toning... this example has definitely seen some action.
Despite the conditional issues on this piece, it's still a pretty hard-to-find Doors flyer from a small East Coast show on the Spring '68 tour. Apparently this show (parts of it) were filmed for "Feast of Friends". Check out the show stats (including color photos) HERE;
