Original 1st printing 17&3/8 x 22&1/2" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing at the University of Iowa Fieldhouse on 8/10/1982. Design by Max Haynes, this was the box-office display example (as noted by the hand-written "TICKETS HERE" at the bottom of the poster); thick flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; aside from the aforementioned hand-written addendum (in black magic marker), there's a 2" tear in the bottom margin (through "HERE"), a 5&3/4" piece of clear tape in the bottom margin, tack/pin holes, a small wedge tear in the lower left margin, s few small scattered surface stains, corner wear, a series of tape shadows along the top edge, handling, etc... as mentioned, this one was "liberated" from the box office by a show attendee, and shows the assorted signs of use/exposure... still, this is the ONLY one of these I've EVER seen, a very strange and unusual-looking Dead poster... check out the show (a Charlie Miller transfer) HERE:
