Original 16 x 7/8 x 22" hand-painted box office sign/window card for Bob Dylan (with the Band, A/K/A the Hawks) at the Honolulu International Center Arena on 4/9/1966. Unknown artist/designer, ultra-thick art board (Crescent Brand) has been hand-painted "An Evening with Bob Dylan" in red and black poster paint, with a box containing the five tiers of ticket prices, along with the corresponding sections of the arena (more on that below) just underneath. The board itself is in very good to excellent (B/B+to B+) condition; there's a few scattered surface scuffs and edge nicks here and there and a stray ding or two, but overall it's pretty sharp. A TRULY unique (and one-of-a-kind) 1966 Dylan concert item, this one required a bit of detective work to figure out where and when it came from. Luckily, the arena where the concert was held is STILL in operation (it's now known as the Neil Blaisdell Center) and the section numbers are the same. After going through all of Dylan's tour dates of 1965 and 1966, I was lucky enough to locate a ticket stub that had a corresponding price and seating level (see photo) that I could compare to the current seating chart at the arena and VOILA! It now has a date and location. Coincidentally, this was the last U.S. date on the tour and was also drummer Mickey Jones' debut with the band. Check out a clip of the whole crew in action;
