Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for "A Tribute To J. Edgar Hoover", a one-night-only event featuring the Jook Savages (featuring Rick Griffin!) appearing with Blue Cheer, Congress of Wonders and the Mojo Men at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 2/10/1967.

 Art by Soot Productions, image (handbill with a slightly different color scheme) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 176 (plate 2.150).

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; there are multiple staple/pin holes in each of the four corners and in the left/right margins with a tiny 1/4" nip out of the top left corner tip, a thin 3/8" wedge hole in the top right corner, a light 3-4" horizontal tape pull along the upper right margin, light handling wear, a few stray stress bends hiding within the image area, a touch of edge toning and a couple of light tape shadows on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 Overall, a very decent-looking slightly worn example of this oddball poster from California Hall.
